Epsom salts provide simple yet powerful healing properties that extend beyond soaking sprains. It's a fabulous exfoliator, too. Just rub handfuls of it on your wet skin, or combine it with olive oil for a luxurious treat. You can even make hair spray. Mix one gallon of water, one cup lemon juice and one cup epsom salts. Let it sit overnight, and you have a great nontoxic, natural styling product.
