Bottles have tons of uses around the house. If you buy anything in bulk, such as sugar, couscous, even rice, store it in a one-gallon milk jug. A half-gallon milk jug makes an excellent scoop. And the next time you pack a cooler, fill plastic bottles with your water or your favorite juice, then freeze. Not only will the bottles keep your food cold, but you can drink the liquid as it defrosts.
