Making your own lunch doesn't mean you have to settle for the standby of peanut butter and jelly. Get creative with your vittles by mixing up plenty of organic fruits and veggies, as well as items high in protein and low in sugar. Fill a wheat pita with sliced onions, bell peppers, cucumbers, feta cheese and spicy hummus for a kick. Add an apple, banana or trail mix as a snack for later.
