Efforts that benefit your wallet almost always benefit the environment, too. Eating at home more often saves waste, especially if you use cloth napkins and compost organic matter. Buying less of what you don't truly need is less stressful on natural resources. And the more you bike, carpool or use public transportation, the less gas you use. They're win-win situations.
