Research what can and can't be recycled and you may end up learning something new. Did you know you can recycle broken umbrellas as long as they have a metal skeleton? Or that many towns offer paint and phone book recycling programs? Plastic bottle caps can't be recycled because they degrade the other plastics, same goes for vcr tapes, used plastic wrap and floppy disks.
