Help others in your neighborhood understand the health (and mind) benefits of growing your own veggies and herbs by starting a community garden. Ask your local schools, churches, or community center if they would be interested in donating a patch of land for the garden, or start one in your own yard to share. Community gardens do more than bond people together over organically grown produce; it helps them understand why we should care where our food comes from.
